CSD 17 Can be considered a success story, as for the first time there was a female Chair, the bureau was gender balanced, a lot of the negotiators were women....did it make a difference? WOCAN, as a member of the women's major working group,  

Application to the AMMA financial support Funding will allow the committee to support the participation of a  number of delegates from African countries. The grant will cover travel, accommodation and the conference registration fees. Please note that, as funds are limited, not all requests will be funded. Priority will be given to applicants who are first author and presenter of the paper submitted to the conference. Candidates will be selected on the basis of scientific excellence. The grant committee encourages applications from young scientists and women. Grant applicationsApplications will be in the form of: a curriculum vitae including information on the candidate's current occupation, the scientific abstract submitted to the conference with the conference session.
