3rd International AMMA Conference

Application to the AMMA financial support

Funding will allow the committee to support the participation of a  number of delegates from African countries. The grant will cover travel, accommodation and the conference registration fees. Please note that, as funds are limited, not all requests will be funded. Priority will be given to applicants who are first author and presenter of the paper submitted to the conference. Candidates will be selected on the basis of scientific excellence. The grant committee encourages applications from young scientists and women.

Grant applications
Applications will be in the form of:

1. a curriculum vitae including information on the candidate's current occupation,
2. the scientific abstract submitted to the conference with the conference session.

All documents should be  submitted electronically by email to grant_ouaga@medias.cnes.fr  as soon as possible and not later than 30 April 2009.All ap plications will be acknowledged by return email. Accepted formats for the documents are pdf, doc, odt or rtf and can be submitted in French or English. Your file name should include the proposed presentation type - oral presentation: op, poster presentation: pp - and your family name.

Grant notification
On 22 May 2009, applicants will be notified if they did or did not receive a grant. Successful applicants will then be given appropriate practical information.
